Auburn Living Library
Located in the entry foyer Auburn Hospital
This work is a sculpture and new media work created by Marily Cintra and Malcolm Cooke representing the theme of Auburn Hospital Redevelopment Arts and Cultural plan “Tapestry”.
Through the new media, accessible through two touch screens, the public and staff can connect to the intangible heritage of the place as stories - Living Books and Short Stories, locally sang lullabies, local poets, heritage information and information about the arts in Auburn Hospital.
The work has hand made tiles, wood woven into the metal with the two touch screens.
